Tieling New City has been offered a marvelous natural setting. Standing on the flat and wide ground of the New City, mountains are available in all directions.
A city on the water
More than 20% of the land in the New city is covered by water, totaling 6s.q.k.m. The city¡¯s water coverage comes out top in China. It is really a water city of North China. Fan River winds 8 kilometers through the city, covering 3.1s.q.k.m. The 4 kilometer¡ªlong Tianshui River functions as the middle axe of the city, covering 0.2s.q.k.m, which is a breakthrough in city construction. Lotus Lake, stretching 2 s.q.k.m, and Ruyi Lake, which is 0.5s.q.k.m long, attract a lot of people with fresh air and delightful environment.
Ecotypic march
There exist a rare ecotypic march in the north of the New City and it will be built into a the largest march in Northeast China.
Abundant species
Tieling New City preserves a large variety of animals and plants. Some unique style and features of the farming land have been conserved. The old trees standing on both sides of the rivers and paths, the garden views spotted in the boscages offer a feast for the eyes. |
